Drone Lessons
Ready to fly? Aolani Aero
helps young adults get their Part 107 license while learning all about drone technology. Our lessons are carried out over a 10-week program, and group sizes range from 1 – 10.
Intro course
Our beginner course is perfect for kids who are interested in drones but have never worked with the technology before. This course includes safety lessons, a flight simulator, and basic flying lessons. At the end of the program, you’ll get to take home your very own drone!
Advanced Course
The advanced course is for students interested in coding and engineering. Learn to build and program your own drone, then take it home with you.

is partnering with local businesses in the Middletown, CT area to offer internships to our students. Drone technology helps make commercial infrastructure safer. Sami, Aolani Aero’s founder and lead instructor, is a licensed Part 107 pilot. He has experience working with Connecticut’s underserved youth and has instructed over 1,000 individuals over the course of his military career. Today, he’s using that experience to introduce the next generation to aerospace.
Our mission is to help Connecticut teens discover a skill they accel at. That’s why we make sure our drone lessons are affordable and accessible for young adults of all abilities. Because if you’re interested in the up-and-coming aerospace industry, nothing should stand in your way.
